Suction Solutions: Semi Back Up

Semi back up solutions are where you share the full capacity requirements of the system between two smaller units rather than one single unit.

Therefore, if one unit was to experience a failure, the other unit in the system will continue to operate automatically and allow the business to continue functioning, albeit at reduced suction capacity.

For example, a Turbo SMART B, which is a single unit with a capacity for up to 4 simultaneous users, can be substituted with a Tandem Micro SMART, which is a tandem system comprising of two smaller units, each with a capacity for up to 2 simultaneous users.

Suction Solutions: Full Back Up

Full back up solutions are where you duplicate the full capacity requirements of the system.

Therefore, if one unit was to experience a failure, the other unit in the system will continue to operate automatically and allow the business to continue functioning at full suction capacity.

For example, a Turbo SMART B, which is a single unit with a capacity for up to 4 simultaneous users, can be substituted with a Tandem Turbo SMART B.

Equipped to work in parallel

Thanks to the inverter technology, multiple SMART systems can be installed in parallel providing your clinic with the ability to easily expand capacity or to introduce built in back up.

Connecting a number of SMART suction systems together in parrellel is a ‘plug and play’ exercise. With the inverters monitoring the system in harmony, parrellel connection has never been so simple.

Failure to properly clean, disinfect or maintain the system as per the manufacturer’s recommendations may affect the warranty. Daily
  • aspirate Puli Jet PLUS NEW disinfectant solution through the suction hoses
  • clear suction filter in the dental surgery
  • insert Antifoaming Disinfecting tablet into the suction filter in the dental surgery
Weekly
  • clear inlet filter on the suction unit in the plant room
Periodically
  • if fitted with optional Amalgam Retention system - collection cup needs changing when the level sensor detects the cup full
  • check all hose connections ensuring they are tight and not leaking
  • check plant room ventilation system is clean and working efficiently
  • replace flexible hoses connecting the unit
