At Cattani Australia, we are dedicated to achieving Net Zero emissions, reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility. Partnering with Trace, a leading sustainability platform, we measure, manage, and offset our carbon footprint to ensure a sustainable future.

 

Our Climate Action Efforts:

  • Certification: Achieving Carbon Neutral certification covers our energy, freight, suppliers, travel, and waste operations.
  • Carbon Profiles: Detailed measurement revealed 1173.3 tCO2 emissions last year, guiding us in understanding our impact.
  • Compensation of Emissions: We offset 100% of our emissions, equivalent to planting 6,692 trees.
  • Decarbonisation Plan: Implementing sustainable supplier policies and eco-friendly travel practices to reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Project Funding: Supporting impactful projects like Cool Fire Traditional Land Management in Australia, Coorong Lakes Biodiversity Conservation in Australia, Efficient Cookstoves in Nepal, and Katingan Peatlands Conservation in Indonesia.

Mercury from dental amalgam poses significant risks to both the environment and public health. Effective retention and separation are crucial to prevent contamination.

We prioritise using recyclable plastics and invest in moulds to support sustainable manufacturing. Our side channel blowers are made with 100% recycled aluminium, and our SMART Cube range significantly reduces raw material usage.

 

Innovations:

  • Turbo SMART Cube System: Reduces 13 kg (59%) of raw materials per unit.
  • Smaller system but producing more if not just as much power
  • Dental Suction Tips: Autoclavable and reusable for 100 sterilisation cycles, eliminating single-use consumables.
